I am learning to add talking to make my writing more interesting.

At the Park

On Saturday afternoon I went to Hamilton with my Nana and Papa to visit my Mum and Dad. It was dark when we got to Hamilton. We went to my Uncle’s house to stay and we watched TV.

When I woke up in the morning my Dad said to me, “It  is time to go to the park.”

At the park Yay.  and we played tag and I got my sister.

After that me and my sister said, “It is good playing tag.” Our family had a great time at the park.

Then we had lunch at the fish and chips shop and that was yum.  “This is Yum,” I said to my Mum.

It was an excellent day because we were with our Mum and Dad.

My Speech 2017

Here I am delivering my speech at the Tautoro School Junior Speech competition.

The judges were marking me on showing confidence, good pace

and volume, speaking clearly, audience connection, use of gestures and timing.

I think we should eat healthy food.

Firstly I think we should eat healthy

food so that our eyes can see properly.

Secondly I think we should eat healthy food

because it makes me healthy.

Another reason we should eat healthy food is because we will run fast.

Lastly I think we should eat healthy food so we can have a healthy heart.

So I think we should eat healthy food.

At Hamilton.

On Thursday I went to Hamilton with my brothers and sister.

Me and my family went to Hamilton and

it was fun. I had a swim and it was cool.

I saw my uncle and aunty and cousin.

I played hide and go seek with cousin.

I liked playing with my cousins.
