My Speech 2017

Here I am delivering my speech at the Tautoro School Junior Speech competition.

The judges were marking me on showing confidence, good pace

and volume, speaking clearly, audience connection, use of gestures and timing.

Term 2 Goal Setting.

Here are my learning goals for Term 2 2017.

A Portrait of my Mum.

I am learning to use lines, shapes, symmetry and position to create

a portrait of my Mum.

Rewindable Learning - Strategies for sharing.

WALT to use strategies to solve sharing problems.

My Maths group and I created this imovie video to show our learning about using strategies

to solve sharing problems.

Persuasive Writing-Healthy Eating.

I am learning to write my opinion and my reasons.

I think we should eat healthy food.

Firstly I think we should eat healthy

food so that our eyes can see properly.

Secondly I think we should eat healthy food

because it makes me healthy.

Another reason we should eat healthy food is because we will run fast.

Lastly I think we should eat healthy food so we can have a healthy heart.

So I think we should eat healthy food.

I am learning to add my thoughts and feelings in my writing.

At Hamilton.

On Thursday I went to Hamilton with my brothers and sister.

Me and my family went to Hamilton and

it was fun. I had a swim and it was cool.

I saw my uncle and aunty and cousin.

I played hide and go seek with cousin.

I liked playing with my cousins.

On Thursday I made a park

at KaTui. Me and my brother

got some wood. We made some monkey bars and a slide and a bridge.

It looked cool.
